Turn Signal-Activated Lane Change makes switching lanes easy. Just activate your turn signal, and the system finds a clear spot, smoothly changing lanes without any further action needed from you.
If enabled, your car will automatically pass slower vehicles in your lane without you having to touch any controls.
On some models, Super Cruise can recognize when the vehicle is pulling a trailer and can automatically adjust the gap to the next vehicle ahead for extra stopping distance.

Super Cruise uses cameras, sensors, GPS information and high-definition LiDAR map data to steer and maintain the vehicle’s position in the current lane. However, you still need to pay attention and keep your eyes on the road while using Super Cruise.

Activating Super Cruise is easy as 1,2,3. 1. Make sure Adaptive Cruise Control is enabled. 2. On a compatible road, centered in your lane, press the Super Cruise button when the white steering wheel icon appears. 3. When the light bar turns green, let go of the wheel.

Since Super Cruise needs an active data connection, you need to sign up for the OnStar One plan or OnStar Super Cruise plan to keep enjoying these features after your trial period ends.
